The seventh edition of Swiss Plastics Expo came to a successful close on Thursday, January 19, 2023. During three days, the trade fair offered inspiration, expertise and networking for the entire value chain of the Swiss plastics industry - and CrossTEQ was there for the first time. Intelligent manufacturing of complex components and multi-component technologies were the focus at this year's Expo. In this context, visitors to our booth had the opportunity to learn more about the possibilities and applications of A-Comp, our hybrid compression molding process.

Nägeli Swiss AG: Joint stand with our long-standing composite partner
For years, CrossTEQ AG and its partner Nägeli Swiss AG have been tinkering, developing and producing in common cause when it comes to fiber-reinforced composites.

At our joint booth in an exquisite location - right next to the main stage - we presented our Formpress technologies and best fiber composite projects of the last years next to and for each other during the three days of the fair.

Spotted: Designer stool made in A-Comp process from recycled sports shoes.
One of our highlights this year was exhibited at the booth of the Institute for Plastics Technology IKT of the FHNW: A stool made from recycled sports shoes.
After intensive, joint development with the product designer Flavia Brändle and the Institute for Kunststofftechnik IKTCrossTEQ was commissioned by a large Swiss sporting goods manufacturer to produce the special design using the A-Comp process.
Through the thermoplastic compression molding process, the mix of recycled shoe and the coloring plastic creates a unique appearance.
We are grateful to have been part of this great collab and were happy to see the finished product in white and black at the IKT booth at the Swiss Plastics Expo.
New inspirations for 2023
The trade fair was a great success CrossTEQ! We had exciting conversations and received great impulses and new inspirations for the future - especially for a sustainable future worth living.
Sustainability as an important topic
At the Swiss Plastics Expo, numerous contents were presented around the focal points of digitalization, efficiency enhancement and sustainability. The topic of sustainability in particular attracted a lot of attention. Read on

What's up next? Agenda 2023
It may still be a while until the next edition of Swiss Plastics Expo, which will take place from January 20 to 26, 2026. But we are already in the middle of preparations for the next event on our agenda:
